Our leaders did a fantastic job by taking on the responsibility of managing, coaching, encouraging, organising and scoring the teams as they progressed through twelve different activities aimed at testing their teamwork, agility, speed, kicking skills, dribbling skills, shooting skills and athletic ability.
They explained the activities in an excellent fashion and the year 1 and 2 children thoroughly enjoyed their help.
They took on the responsibility in an immaculate way and displayed excellent demonstration and communication skills.
All the students will be able to use the experienced gained to help them meet the required criteria to attain higher leadership qualifications. Their voluntary hours will also be logged in their passports.
Other students wishing to develop their own leadership skills can sign up for the Sports Leadership Passport by getting a letter from Mrs. Fullman in the PE reception office. A copy of the leadership calendar is available on the cluster group's sports website (www.angmeringclustersport.weebly.com/sports-leaders) where students can also get further information about sports leadership roles.
Many thanks go to Monday's leaders for their fantastic work:
