St. Margaret's represented the cluster group at the Southern Area Partnership's Tri-Golf finals at Rustington Golf Centre in Tuesday. They were enthusiastic participants throughout as they battled to try and gain a place a the Sainsbury's Sussex School Games Finals later in the summer.
The team of 5 boys and 5 girls took part in a variety of driving, chipping and putting events in which they attempted to accumulate as many team points as possible. They were cheered on by a vocal group of spectators, who seemed to enjoy the tournament almost as much as the players.
Mr. Milner-Smith and Mrs. Webb, resplendent in their new sports coaches tracksuits, were very proud of the manner in which the team participated. Despite finishing 7th overall, the team played with enthusiasm and were an excellent advert for the sporting values of St. Margaret's and the cluster as a whole.
